As many of you will know, Vincent’s lost one of our best-loved alumni, Ian Williams, back in February. Ian was a three-time winning Blue for OURFC and was beginning a very promising professional career when he tragically collapsed during training with Doncaster Knights.
This Saturday at 2pm is the inaugural Ian Williams memorial match at Iffley Road, with Ian’s former Swansea and Oxford teammates facing each other in his memory. There will be entertainment, food and drink available all afternoon. More information is available on the event below.
Whether you knew Ian or not do come along for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon, and a chance to learn more about the Ian Williams Foundation which has been set up in his honour.
Hope to see many of you there.
