O2 Touch Rugby

OURFC will be running a weekly touch rugby program, supported by O2 Touch, with a view to attracting novices into the game and stopping the post school drop off in participation. The weekly tournaments will take place every Thursday this term at 4pm in the University Parks.

If you would like to be involved in 90 minutes of fun, relaxed rugby, free stash (hopefully beaters) and sunshine please contact sean.morris@sport.ox.ac.uk.

Summer Garden Party, Cricket & Cocktails

Saturday 7th Week (8th June)

This year Vincent’s cocktails will be a wonderful event held at the University Parks. There will be a champagne tea while a resident members XI take on an alumni XI in an all Vincent’s cricket match. If you would like to represent the Vincent’s XI on the day please contact Samridh at samridh.agarwal@queens.ox.ac.uk. The match will be followed by two club photos and the cocktails event. This is a day of celebration, our day in the sun. Please make every effort to attend.
All day tickets for members will be £40 and you have the option of bringing a plus one at the same price.
Members’ tickets for the evening cocktails only will be £25 and guests will be charged £30.

150th Anniversary Members’ Dinner

Thursday 9th week (20th June)

This dinner will be the only opportunity for us to dine together, exclusively as resident members and celebrate our landmark anniversary. The dinner will be held at Trinity College, please keep the date free as more information will follow. It will be generously subsidised by old members so expect our three course meal and wine to be in the region of £10-£20. Ben Mansfield will be organising this event.

Tailor’s Visit

Michael Wigglesworth, our club tailor, will be visiting the club on Monday of 2nd week. This is the best opportunity to be fitted for your Vincent’s tweed before this year’s cocktails event. The magnificent tweed jacket is the obvious choice, however, if you would like more details on other items and prices please email me.
